I finally got the ink cartridge to partially work in my hp printer scanner and copier. Problem is..?

I used the refil kit to fill the cartridge and even though it doesn't print the necessary color this is fine for doing research for school for things i don't turn in. The ink will start out dark and look fine the first couple of lines then it just basically fades completely out. I've cleaned the cartridge and it has enough ink now I really don't know whats wrong. It kinda looks like lines across the page when the ink starts to not work i.e. fade out. Any suggestions would be great.I finally got the ink cartridge to partially work in my hp printer scanner and copier. Problem is..?
AN HP 56 black will do that if they are overfilled.

You may want to use the syringe to remove 1-2 ml of ink from the cartridge, re-install and try a few cleanings.

If the problem persists run several cleanings back to back to see if you maintain the quality. If not you may have some dryness in the membrane behind the print head.

There is very little you can do in the case. You may want to try soaking the print head itself in some blue window cleaner.

Dry it off and again re-install and run a few print head cleanings.

If none of these suggestions remedy the situation you may unfortunately have to replace the cartridge.

If you are using a universal refill kit as opposed to one that is designed for your particular cartridge they ink may be too dense.I finally got the ink cartridge to partially work in my hp printer scanner and copier. Problem is..?
Try to clean your ink cartridge with the help of HP utilities software, if it doesn't work, pump some air into the cartridge using your refill toolkit then try to reinstall again the cartridge.
Your printer needs a head cleaning.
