Which is the better brand of printer, Epson or HP?

Small office use. Preferably inkjet. What model would suit us better? We do require color printing capability. Looking for most cost effective overall. Ink, quality of print, speed of printing.Which is the better brand of printer, Epson or HP?
I find it funny that someone said that HP doesn't have all the cables needed to run when in reality NO brand of printer comes with all the needed cables to run (with the exception of printers purchased at Sam's Club or Wal-Mart). All printer brands include everything you need with the exception of the USB cable and printing paper.

If all you need to do is print, take a look into the HP Officejet Pro K5400 printer. You will not find an inkjet printer with such low printing costs. The black cartridge (88XL) costs $35 but will print 2,450 pages- giving costs that are lower than even many laser printers. This machine prints 36 pages per minute and has great text quality and even nice photo quality.

If you need to copy/scan/fax in addition to print, take a look into the HP L7580 or L7680. These use the same ink cartridges as the K5400, but have these added features.

HP is a more reliable brand than Epson. Epson has horrible ink costs and they keep getting worse. HP on the other hand, has recently done a lot to lower costs for customers to win them over from the competition. Cost per page with these HP printers will be 1.5 cents per black and white page and 4 cents per color page. Compare that to 4 cents per b%26amp;w page and 8 cents per color page with other printer manufacturer's.Which is the better brand of printer, Epson or HP?
Epson, the science of color but HP has the best color.
Epson is better because some HP don't have all the cables that they need to run, it was a bad move by HP
I have had both. The Epson I had alot of problems from the start. The HP ran fine from 'the get go'.Get an HP.
