I only need to know what kind of ink to use with this printer so I can print text documents.

HP 57 for color
Open the lid and take out the ink cartrages that are in there now to find out the ink #s. OR (far fetched idea but..) might wanna check the owners manual... OR GO ONLINE TO THE HP WEBSITE!
