All you need to do is got to


Control Panel --%26gt; Administrative Tools --%26gt; Services





Find the Print Spooler entry and right click. Then select Stop. Once the service is stopped, right click and start again. This will clear the printer queue. You may have to refresh the queue to see the document cleared.

If all else has failed then delete the printer from your computer.


Close the computer but leave the printer turned on and reboot.


As the machine starts up it will recognize that there is new hardware, just click OK and it should reinstall the drivers.


When you delete the printer you are not deleting the drivers.


This has worked for me in the past.

I have had this problem many times. That is partially why I bought a different brand of printer. You need to right click on the printer icon in your task bar (near the clock) and select the option that has to deal with documents or something. Open this window up, and highlight the document you want to get rid of. Go to the top of the window, and select the ';file'; tab, or a tab that has the option to cancel print. Cancel the print, and then refresh on one of the tabs at the top. It may take a few tries, but I usually got it to work this way.
