I was able to use it earlier and it was working and then suddenly the check printer cartridge light was blinking; I already checked the cartirdge set-up.I have an HP 4100 printer, it was working earlier but suddenly it stopped and an error occured?
Turn computer off, UN plug printer from power wait two minutes plug it in, turn on computer, it will recover.I have an HP 4100 printer, it was working earlier but suddenly it stopped and an error occured?
maybe...

the catridge can be empty

if you are sure its full, HP may uses a mechanism to identify catridges and declared it empty by fault.

you may put an old catridge in ..let it find it...

after it runs into another error put your full catridge back in, the counter should be back to zero

(I'm not sure wether the HP4100 has this 'feature' uhhmm)

maybe one of the contacts between catridge and printer has some dirt on it, remove catridge and clean those contacts on both the holder and the catridge .. but don't use water or so

maybe the wiring between catridge-contacts and the inkhead on the catridge are damaged, you may see a dent on them somewhere.. in this case i'm afraid you need to buy a new catridge
