I have an hp wireless printer and a wireless laptop but the laptop is not recognising it. Any ideas?

is your laptop equipped with a wireless switch? make sure this is turned-on. and also your printer.


have you used the wireless capability before and proved that its working? (e.g. internet connection)


is your laptop within range of the wireless device? 802.11 a/ b/ g is best used within 600ft. wireless n in 900ft.


HP printer drivers installed?


what's your operating system?


have you used the wireless printer in another laptop before?





i hate to answer you with a question but i need this info to narrow down the problem.I have an hp wireless printer and a wireless laptop but the laptop is not recognising it. Any ideas?
you must install the necessary drivers or that to work and check or consult the store where you bought it and ask how it works being wireless
