I have a 3 in one hp printer it wont scan?

Re-install the software and it will work but, do it this way.





Remove the USB cable from the scanner and power on the scanner.





Now begin a fresh install and re-connect the USB only when the software asks you and NOT before.





Let it finish the install and REBOOT the computer.





Windows will find the scanner. Now,open the scanning software under the START menu and select All Programs.





Go in the HP folder and Open the program and select SCAN under the FILE menu and it will work.I have a 3 in one hp printer it wont scan?
TUrn it off, then back on.





Make sure you installed the software that came with it.





Update the drivers from Device Manager.





Those are options because I am not aware of the model of your printer.
