I have got HP printer that is connected to my desktop computer(Windows XP) and i have shared it Through my network. when i try to connect my laptop (Windows Vista) to the printer it stops me and say you don't have permission to access. How can i connect to it?Cant connect to my HP printer?
ok first you need to fallow these steps
1. open controll panel on you XP computer
2. click on printer and other harware
3.click printers and fax
5.right click your printer name and icon
6. go to properties
7.then go to the ';sharing'; tab at the top
8.select the radio button that says ';share this printer';
9.then type the name of the shared printer!
and that should do it!
