Can a hp printer be used with a dell dimension c521 computer?

It's not the computer that could be used (compatible) it would be the Operating System (XP, 2000, 98, ect.) 2000 is compatible. If you still aren't sure, locate your reinstallation disk. Insert it into the computer and find the file that contains all of the information that will tell you that. I think it's called a compatibility. Or try: http://www.activewin.com/winxp/winxphclx鈥?/a>Can a hp printer be used with a dell dimension c521 computer?

As long as it has the right connectors and right drivers it should.
The BRAND of the printer has nothing to do with anyhting. If you have the drivers for the printer, it'll run on pretty much any computer running Windows.
Of course, just load the drivers and plug it on in.
ofcourse because printer has no restrictions on computers.
i really don't see why not. All computers have a usb or printer port. Just plug it in and install the cd that came with the printer. If you don't have the drivers just go to the hp site and download the generico drivers (i think they now have one file for all the printers).

Good luck and let me know if you have a problem.
It should be. Your computer and printer do not need to be from the same manufacturer. The printer should come with an Installation CD. With that the computer shouldn't have a program recongizing the hardware.
For sure yes, as long as you have the right cable (USB or parallel) and the appropriate connector on the laptop, and if you install the printer drivers.
