My Qbasic programs doesn't print to my new HP printer. What is wrong?

I write Qbasic programs all the time and print reports from them. Now I have a new HP printer and nothing will print from my Qbasic programs anymore. What do I need to do?My Qbasic programs doesn't print to my new HP printer. What is wrong?
Ok this is kind of redundant but it works. You will need to share the printer in windows, then note the share name. you will also need to know your computers name then click start, run, type ';command'; hit enter


now u will need to type ';net use \\yourcomputername\yoursharedprintername /y and hit enter once the command is completed you should be able to print from qbasic to your new hp.
