My Hp 2110 all in one printer is BROKEN, can anyone help?

When i turn it on it loads then starts to make a loud sort f clicking noise and eventually stops, but wont print anything! I dont know where to begin. Can anyone help?My Hp 2110 all in one printer is BROKEN, can anyone help?
One of the power on routines has the print head move to the far right until a sensor is tripped indicating that it is in print position 1. If that sensor is bad, jammed or is not registering with the controller board the heads will keep trying to move to the right causing the noise you hear. The routine will post a 'not ready to print' status and freeze up.

how about this... bring your cartridge to some shop that refills toner and have the cartridge examined...





if the cartridge is fine, there's probally something wrong with the printer itself

Mine does that when the printer cartridge is jammed. I have to open the printer and pull the cartridges out from the side. Then when I close the printer, it behaves for a while . . . .





Then again, it also makes a nasty noise when it's having trouble pulling the paper in. . . .

Either the CD drive is defective or the CD is damaged.


Try running other CD in your PC and run your printer CD in other PC.


If other CDs also do not work in your PC replace the CD drive.


Or download the driver from net.

This sounds more like your computer's problem then the printer. I don't know of any printers that send emails. Eh? The printer can send email?





Normally you'd scan the photo into a file on your computer, then use your email program (Yahoo Mail, whatever you use) to send the photo as an attachment to your friends.
What model is it? Look it up on the HP support page and look for the troubleshooter or FAQ's.

Go to the HP website and download the most recent software for your printer. Also, if you have to turn off the printer during a print job, make sure you delete the print job off of the computer before you turn it back on. If there is a print job on the computer you will see a printer icon in the bottom right of your screen (near the time). Open that icon and right-click and cancel or delete any job listed. If you power on the printer when there is a job waiting it will print gibberish.

Why didn't you just get the drivers from hp.com for your printer?


You can go to the hp site and click Software %26amp; Drivers Downloads and make sure the Download Drivers %26amp; Software is checked and type in Deskjet 722 for the product and click the %26gt;%26gt; button. On the next page click Deskjet 722c and pick your operating system. It should show one available download.

printers are very affordable today,you can buy a good one for around$30,or do like me..find someone throwing one away and offer to get rid of it for them!! ink cartridges are the most expensive part and most walgreen drugstores (if you have one near by)will re fill ink cartridges fofr about $15.Is it possible that you printer is messed up inside ? you may just have to keep looking for generic drivers for free on the net ...Good Luck!!
